5 Must Do’s When the Real Estate Search for a New Home Starts with TransAmerican

Taking the step of looking for a new home can be scary, these are some tips that will make the journey far more easy and pleasant with TransAmerican Realty Group.

1.    Contact your trusted realty group

Who is your go-to Realty Group?

Of course, it’s TransAmerican. By choosing someone to guide you through the process of buying a property you will save time, energy and most importantly, money. You read it right, realtors are usually committed to their client’s best interests, and who doesn’t like saving up some money. The thing is, the Real Estate world is extremely fluctuating, and although as realtors we will work hard on getting you that house you want so much, we also want our clients to trust and feel comfortable when working with us; this means we want our clients to ask all the questions, clear any doubts, call us when any other real estate issue comes up, whether it is selling, buying, renting or lending...

2.    Define one area to look into

House hunting is no easy task, the long walks, hours on inspections, weekends from one open house to the other, and we know that. That is why focusing on one area at a time can be a little bit less exhausting. For example: If you are looking to buy in Miami, maybe choose first if you prefer north or south, beach or city. Look into the suburbs and areas you might find attractive, and finally, say you chose Coral Gables, focus on that area’s listings for a week or so, then add surrounding areas until you find the one.

3.    Keep your credit score high!

Yes, credit score can be confusing, but with some easy to follow instructions you can maintain your score attractive to sellers, landlords and lenders. (source: www.thebalance.com)

4.    Look closely during inspections

Having second thoughts on any property of your interest is completely normal, the only way to avoid thinking it over too much is to properly inspect the house. Write down all your concerns and before you leave, pass them on to your realtor, so they can address them. Look for any damages or features you may not want to live with, see if they are reparable, if not, say so to your agent, so they can find a most suitable property for you.

5.    Maintain your documents updated

It’s no secret that Real Estate proceedings take up a lot of paper, and gathering them can take a considerable amount of time, which is precious when making an offer. Before starting the hunt, ask your realtor what are the document you will most likely have to provide, and maybe start a folder to have it ready to go when the YES comes along.

As you can see, it does have its tricks but with the help of an agent you will be hosting that barbecue in no time!
